Hello Buddies,

New day with new experiences in the new city  😊 . Since we had our cousin brother in Al Karama, gave a quick visit to him, had a quick lunch and by the time he is at home little one was all awake and fresh. From Al Karama, we went with cousin to Al Seef Village, the most awaited attraction that I would never want to miss or skip from the list.

Banks of creek that exhibits the modern Dubai

Alseef Village

Walking along the banks of creek, that exhibits two sides of Dubai. One side of the creek exhibits present life, with fashionable restaurants and modern buildings, while the other side wonderfully captures ancient Arabic culture and architecture.

The walk through the buildings made of sand, lime, and stone, narrow mud-brick streets, and weathered wooden doors. As we slip towards another phase of the day, the vibe and and the ambience of Al-seef is enhanced with soft glow of lanterns enriches the historic atmosphere. While walking we could also spot various restaurants, including a Starbucks Cafe, Mc Donald designed in the traditional style. According to me Al-seef is the fusion of both ancient and modern, and represents Dubai’s rich cultural heritage for the tourists visiting.

Every click was amazing and worth it, especially the evening time. I would also suggest this place as shopping stop for the ones who would wish to grab souvenirs for the loved ones, not all shops but some of the shops are reasonable and must try.

From Alseef our next activity for the day was sail along the Dubai creek in Dhow cruise with some amazing views with all the other high rise buildings making an amazing sky line.

View from Cruise

Dhow cruise is a visual treat for anyone who is taking the ride  😊. The food was good and one of the amazing things of cruise is that they take you through Dubai marina where you can see Dubai night lights. The cruise also showed the cultural dance “Tanoura Dance ” , a traditional, energetic, and spiritual dance performed by Sufi men in Dubai.  It’s a highlight of desert safaris in Dubai and is popular with tourists and locals.

Winding the relax day with good memories to cherish  😊

A few points to kept in mind while visiting Al-seef and Dhow Cruise are mentioned below, hope this helps:

1. Do not click pictures on the other side of the creek coz its a government property and clicking photos are prohibited.

2. No point being on the lower deck. If you book only go for top deck.

3. People will approach you for the instant click and will give you the picture by the end of the cruise ride, which is very much pricey. If you have a good camera phone, that should do the job.

Hope you enjoyed reading, will be back soon with new experiences, facts and memories.

Until then Happy Reading 😊 😊
